Added "Leica Q" album to the site! (This is not a review of the Leica Q, just some comments on it so far…)

Been having a fun time taking photos with the Leica Q!

When you have been taking photos for quite some time, you can get carried away with the technicalities of the DSLR and filters for iPhone.

The Leica Q unconsciously makes you fall back to when taking photos was fun

I started from the DSLR age, so had almost no experience with rangefinders, some childhood experiences with manual focus and film.

The Q changed all this with AF auto focus. This was important to me and was all it took to convince me to get my hands on one (And have completely forgotten the fact that I owned and sold off a Fuji X100S a few years back)

The Q comes with a fixed 28mm Summilux 1.7 and provides a quick entry into the Leica world, after using it for a few months, I could finally understand why there are die-hard fans out there

It's the glass

Detailed pictures. Oh, you probably thought, ah, another pixel peeper, sharpness doesn't matter in photography. I would have to argue, I believe, the more details you have in your photos, the more it is able to capture the scene's atmosphere and ambience accurately. And there's still the ability to crop in when needed!

Shots from the Leica Q

Apart from a very slight green tint, the colour matches my processing style, which means lesser time in Lightroom!
